The Simms FFA/BPA Gala, held on October 24 at the Black Eagle Community Center, is a chapter-led event designed to celebrate member achievements and raise funds for FFA and BPA programs. The evening includes dinner, games, and a silent auction, giving attendees a chance to engage with the chapter while supporting its initiatives.

Students take leadership roles in planning and executing the event, applying business and AFNR principles. They develop marketing strategies to promote ticket sales and auction items, analyze pricing and competition, and track revenue to meet financial goals (ABS.05.01, ABS.05.02, ABS.05.03).

Participants assemble, interpret, and analyze financial information such as projected income, expenses, and auction proceeds to support decision-making and evaluate event success (ABS.02.02). They also develop operational plans, organize volunteer roles, and create schedules to ensure smooth execution (ABS.04.02, ABS.04.01).

Additionally, students recruit, train, and manage volunteers to serve in various roles including hosting, serving, and coordinating games and auction logistics, enhancing human resource management skills (ABS.01.04). Throughout the gala, students practice professional communication, teamwork, and leadership, while aligning the event with chapter goals and objectives, demonstrating practical application of business, marketing, and operational principles.
